Coffee......Or Beer?

Two of my favorite beverages, both with their attributes…and flaws.

What if I had to give one of them up? Which would I choose?

I haven’t been given that ultimatum from a doctor or anything. I sometimes just ask myself the question in case I had to…sort of my way of ranking my love of each. Actually, love is a tad strong for one’s affection for a DRINK.

Coffee is my morning engine. The thought of starting the day without a cup of joe is hard to take. I love the smell of coffee….in fact, I love the idea of coffee….a hot cup is of comfort to me…for reasons I cannot explain.

And then there’s beer.

As you may have gathered from a previous blog, I am not a microbrew guy. But give me an ice-cold Bud Light Lime or Corona Light and I’m a happy guy. I don’t need to have a beer every night…in fact, during the week I’ll probably not consume more than 2-3 beers all week. On the weekend, it could be SLIGHTLY MORE.

Anyway, back to the question…coffee or beer…..hmmmm

Gotta pick the mean Columbian bean….which reminds me that I haven’t had my first cup yet…see ya!
