Is eBay The Way?

Goodness knows I have an opinion on just about EVERYTHING….this time, I’ll pose the question to you:

Can you make your living on e-Bay?

94.9 WHOM’s Morning Host GV Rapp casually mentioned to me that one of his regular poker buddies actually quit his full-time job—and is now fully self-employed, making his LIVING on eBay!

I was astounded…..not because I haven’t heard of that kind of thing…it’s just that it usually comes from a late-night TV infomercial. Hey, the “Video Professor” says I can do it, but he wants $80 of my money to tell me how (guess how he’s making HIS living?) When I heard about an ACTUAL person working fulltime to create a living wage on eBay, it definitely got my attention.

This person apparently combs yard sales and flea markets to find items that he thinks can fetch more in cyberspace. That “Petticoat Junction” set of salt and pepper shakers has someone out there searching for them. If you can fill that need (at a tidy profit), why not?

With so many people out of work, there may be real potential for at least keeping body & soul together via the web and becoming an eBay Home Business. Heck, I have enough crap in my house to feed my family for years.
